What do you think of our latest Eurovision Song Contest effort? Do you think we will win?! Will you be settling down on the sofa to watch it or would you rather gouge your eyes out with a blunt instrument? ;-)

Hi emz26 , every year I vow not to watch it again ......and yet I seem to be sat there again the next year !!! :-)
I will definately be watching, I LOVE Eurovision, especially Terry Wogan's sarcastic remarks.

However, I don't believe that we have a cat in hells chance of winning. Partly because the song is rubbish and partly because I don't think anyone would vote for us, even if the song was fab. The voting is all political.
I'm with you CheekyChops, even if we had the best song going we'll never win.
I think the voting is the main reason I watch it,every year i just can't believe that the same countries vote the same way!!!!
I only every watch it for Terry Wogans comments, think they are classic.
We won't win, we will be lucky to get any marks! I don't think i've ehard of a cr@ppier song in my life!!! lol And what's with those outfits reallllllly

We won't win..

I watch it every year, it was always tradition in my house ~ infact we would alll sit there with notebooks & pens..and place bets on who would win!

Nowadays it is more for the car crash entertainment value..and Wogan of course.

all of this year's entries are dire. I suspect that nobody wants to stage next year's contest; on that basis we might just win, notwithstanding our song is rubbish.

The writer/choreographer has obviously seen the sit-com The High Life from the mid-nineties. It was a camp sendup of flight attendants and starred Alan Cumming in an early role, and had a number of very silly songs, including Piff Paff Poff (I want to have it off till I coff).
