coronation street - The fire?

Been on holiday and was just wondering what happened on coronation street fire , Was the baby in the house ?

No, although that wasn't revealed immediately. Claire was rescued by Kirk & Jamie but Sinbad from Brookie was unable to ge into Freddie's room because it was too hot. The firemen arrived and they were eventually beaten back too, so everyone presumed freddie was dead.
Then in the next episode the police said there was no trace of a baby. Freddie was later found abandoned in a park. The rozzers think Claire's PND has kicked in again and reckon she abandoned him then torched the house (as yer do). She thinks it's this Casey bird who stole him.

I think its Brookside mans son taht took him and set the place on fire!!
