Anyone else think that the apparent slide of Guppy's morals into one night stands and impending cocaine use is just too implausible. I know that people under pressure can do things which are normally out of character for them but with everything that happened with his father, he is under relatively little pressure right now and he has had a particularly high stand on both issues being teetotal and a virgin. I find it annoying when characters are forced into absurd actions because plotwriters cannot think of what else to do with them
