In the street scene at the start of Corrie tonight was it just me or did anyone else notice that Gail was bobbing up & down as though she'd lost the heel from one of her shoes? or maybe she was walking with one foot in the gutter like you did when you were little? It just looked so funny to me.
And why does Deirdre always stride out around their tiny house with her arms swinging as though she's on a brisk 5 mile hike?
No insults from soap haters please...I know I should get out more :o)

goodness, that's a nice-looking ship, shaney... dates all the way back to 1997, I see, so almost as old as me, and its rigging in better condition than mine. I had planned to go into Lunnun for the river race yesterday but spent much of it transporting jno jnr to a hospital clinic for treatment for a strep throat, as he has not got around to getting himself a GP. It has now been pointed out to him, with some force, that while I did that sort of thing for him at the age of 2, he is now more than 10 times older and might start to look after his own health requirements. Then spent an hour on the phone to a friend who has had a breakdown; poor thing, she was feeling very low and weepy and all I could do was assure her that it will gradually get better... I hope this is actually true, as she has been off work since Christmas and does seem to have quite a way to go.

So I am hoping that biddies are ALL WELL.

Afternoon Biddyfriends hope you are all ok. I'm a bit more sorted out this weekend than last thank goodness. I have now sorted my radio controlled Heating thingy but I don't want any heating on at the mo. My sister explained it to me thank goodness.
I am now waiting for my plumber to come and put up my curtain rail. I left it in a place where he would trip over it and he asked me if I wanted it fitting and of course that was just what I wanted lol. (They all fall into the trap.) I'm off for a cuppa now see you all later, have a good day everyone.

Still I hope he soon feels better and buys you a huge box of soft centres for all your good works and that your friend soon feels better too. Nothing worse when you can't seem to snap out of the miseries as I know too well .

I have snails in the garden that are much faster than AB and they don't keep timing themselves out either .

Lovely day here again, have been to fisio again but only have to do half an hour these days so that's good. Have a huge pile of ironing todo now, (I don't normally do ironing) so am off to buy myself a nice new iron just to cheer me up. See you all later.

Thanks jno old bean, have just bought a new iron, it's no better than my old one, and have finished the pile of ironing. That's it for another year - I don't iron in the winter cos I use the tumble dryer!!

This is the 2nd hotel we stayed in, in Stockholm - ab fab!! after our group was thrown out of the original hotel (for overbooking!!)
