Wierd comedy show but genius!!

Does anybody remember a comedy show which was out around 2001 2002? It wasnt on for very long but the guy was a genius!! I remember a script about a little boy who kept asking "why? but why??" and the answer was "because your curious"!! Sounds wierd but that programme was ace!! The guy in it was tall, thin,with dark hair!!
