Some of the shots of Steve and Eileen's trip to Malta looked really good, has anyone been there?

lovely and the people friendly. Beaches were a bit scarce but we had a lovely holiday at the Mistra Village resort, which had villas with paths down to a lovely pool.
While we were there Benny from Crossroads was there, and he kept having a go at people for trying to get his autograph and talk to him. His 'minder' had to keep
holding him back from trying to thump someone!
My sisters son was 17 months old when we went, he has just been promoted to Sergeant in the RAF! Where does the time go?

My parents live in Nadur on Gozo and the beach that Corrie used is Ramla Bay, about a 5 min drive from Nadur. The bar they were sitting at is one of two beach bars at Ramla and that one is owned by a guy called Mario. The setting of the last scene where they watched the sun go down is at the Azure Window in Dwerja which is further north in the island.
We go to Gozo every year, my husband loves it and wants to move there. The people are very friendly and welcoming. Of course, they love the British anyway. Personally I think Gozo is a lot better than Malta but then I'm biased. I agree with the Blue Lagoon trip, snorkelling there is a must but watch the fish, they nibble your feet if you're not watching! LOL
We were there 2 weeks ago and the temp was 40 C.
Some places still resemble a building site because they are always building new houses.
