Old Lynley?

Does anyone know why last night's Lynley was a repeat, after they had heavily trailed it as a new episode? I missed the first couple of minutes, nothing was said at the end and all text and Skyplus still had the info for the new episode.

I really don't know - the only thing I thought of was that the episode was to be about a missing small child who'd been discovered dead. Maybe they thought it was too close to the current news. If every drama that was similar to the news was withdrawn we'd never have any programmes.
Of course I could be a million miles away from the reason.

It was n`t listed as a repeat though, so obviously it was a last minute change. I`ve recorded it, so if it is a repeat I won`t bother watching it.
