Ooo yeah I read that it is the now grown up child (or teen) that Cindy died in child birth with that shoots Jane but then someone else said the same as 4get and that it is someone closer to home.
I think they are trying to throw us off of the scent with this Craig storyline that's due to happen soon so we think it is him that shoots Jane.

Maybe it's Stephen seeking revenge for being forced to live with Ian believing him to be his Dad all those years when he could have been lapping it up in New Zealand instead of Walford!! lol

I heard Cindy didn't die in Childbirth whilst in prison, she was in fact put on a very high security witness protection programme and a made up death was the best option for the police given she was was serving life impriosment anyway.

She now misses her children and has found religion, hence her contacting Ian.

Ian would have changed his mobile / deleted cindy's number in the years since then?

In real life he could just use another pone to call the number to find out who was at the end of the mobile number?
