I am a great fan of Stargate Atlantis
(see: http://www.savecarsonbeckett.com/)

I use Virgin Media for my TV, broadband and phone. They no longer have Sky One as part of their package. Although there is nothing stopping me from subscribing to Sky I really don't want to.

So come the new series of Atlantis in September I will have to download the episodes - easy? not for me!

Is there a website that I should go to that is legal and reliable and do I have to pay for the episodes?

Are they shown at the same time as the episodes on Sky or are they shown weeks later?

Do I just download onto my computer and then onto a DVD?

Thanks for any help/guidance.

Susan

I'm pretty sure that there will not be a legal way to do this, unless iTunes or a similar reputable firm offers downloads to the UK (it's normally USA only).

If you do decide to go the illegal route bear in mind that many sites offer you episodes for a fee, or will sell you software to enable the downloading of episodes. Nearly every time this software is a variant (often with a few embedded nasties) of a program that is freely available elsewhere without the added nasties. (In other words, if you are going to use P2P software, you shouldn't pay for it!)

Thanks - I will think about it.

Why is nothing simple?

All I want is Stargate Atlantis!
