emmerdale baby mix up?

Is it just me or can anyone else see there being a baby mix up in the offing for Laurel and Ashleigh?

There are sooo many clues and hints flying around i.e the newspaper headlines about the amount of recent births, the mix up with the Thomas / Thomson baby in the hospital and the fact that there were so many women in labour at the same time as Laurel she had to share a delivery room.

All seems to be heading somewhere don't you think?

the thomson baby was black so i dont think they would find a mistake there do you!

Well obviously not when it was pointed out that the baby was black lol but its the principal that the nurse didn't know who were the parents of said baby. The writers are definately hinting at a mix up I'm sure of it.

the quickest birth ive seen on tv the must have cut the cord in 25th of a second,all wrapped and dispatched in 10 secs flat

I read something about that too, someone had texted into teletext asking how long it would be before they realised they had the wrong baby, what happened?

Dont know about a mix up but the baby was far from new born.At least a month or more older.
