That scene with David earlier was ridiculous, coz I'm sure in a real situation that no one would have given the snivelling little sh*t a clout and taken the pole off him!! All those people standing around were no match for David Platt??!!
I thought some of the script writing later on tho was quite amusing!

Yes, I agree. I don't care if I miss it these days. The script writing has generally deteriorated and some of it is totally unbelievable. Some of the new characters just haven't come up to scratch. It still has the odd spark of humour though.

As for last night, I am sure Kevin would have had the guts to have tackled David instead of just looking gobsmacked whilst he smashed the cars up. Kevin is a feisty character himself.

Yes but Kevin has just fone a prison term for assault, so I don't think he would interfere again! I wish they would get rid of Vernon though, he's a complete waste of space and not even funny.

If my son had been behaving like David and smashing everything in sight I would have been hysterical with fear.......not like laid back Gail who was just stood watching ! Not realistic at all. I thought that Liz and Vernon got married but on the credits at the end she is still called McDonald.
I agree with Tinkertontom about Rita though, that was hilarious.
