1970's Sunday night TV
Does anyone remember a couple of shows that used to be on a Sunday evening back in the 70's. One was some sort of gameshow that I seem to remember was based on charades I think. Bernard Cribbins was the host. It wasn't the same show that Lionel Blair and Una Stubbs did. The other was on just after it and was about Egyptian Mummy's. I can't really remember much other than there were all these mummy's that came to life and it used to scare me to death. It was that programme that made me stop calling my mum "Mummy" cos I couldn't stand to say the word any more. Does this ring any bells with any one?

Could that be it? It's the only programme on there he is listed as hosting.

Any clues as to the programme that was about mummies. I think it was on a Sunday evening. I vaguely remember a man who seemed quite posh and possibly looked a bit like the guys from Brideshead revisited in his style dress, but this is only a vague memory. It was definitely about egyptian Mummies tho.....

The only prog I can remember that fits the bill would have been Dr, Who with Tom Baker as the doctor. It was a multi part episode show usually on Saturdays. Pyramids of Mars was the episode title shown around 1975.
