I was out of this country when Hamish MacBeth was first shown. I recently discovered its re-runs and found it an absolute joy! It must be the best series to come out of Scotland (apart from Taggart, of course,).

I`m really upset that the re-runs have suddenly stopped and I`m keeping my eye out for them to re-appear again.

By the way, please don`t laugh) can anyone tell me if Hamish and Isabel ever do get together finally on the show?

They didn`t or they did, in the last episode?

I remember the episode where they got to `know` each other in the cave, with the strange man burning money to keep them warm. Was that the last one?

I`ve never heard of the Vital Spark.
