I really like Harry & Paul, the new series from Mr Enfield & Mr Whitehouse, my personal favorites being the Football manager & the mysterious landlady "not that I recall!"
My question refers to the music used to introduce the Notting Hill furniture? shop sketch, a reggae track that features the lyric "In my neighbourhood"
Can anyone please tell me what it is??
Thanks

It's the Clash song 'Guns Of Brixton', but this version is by Nouvelle Vague.

The band do cocktail and bossa nova versions of rock and pop songs, their latest album contains this song, and other gems you will love like 'Love Will Tear Us Apart' by Joy Division, and 'This Is Not A Love Song' by Public Image, and their envied cafe Paris version of that old bossa nova favourite - 'Too Drunk To Fcuk' by The Dead Kennedys.

They are on tour this December.

Enjoy yourself.

You're quite right - I've only seen the show once and that track stood out, and i could have sworn ... blah blah.

Never mind, I enjoyed showing off, however erroneously!
