The Fun Police
Did anyone watch this last night? About Health and Safety inspectors, one consultant, I think his name was Ed, seemed to be absolutely obsessed by H&S. Very hard person to live with I would imagine.

I was hoping she would speak the truth, but she gave in and suggested he was near perfect! I wonder what her punishment would have been if she had admitted it was hard going? And the camera couldn`t resist showing the workers faces when he was demonstrating how to pick up a box.
I watched this and couldn't help thinking what a barrel of laughs he would be to live / go out and about with.....NOT!!!
Also putting the sponge and kitchen towel he has used to clean his floor, straight onto his work surfaces must surely be in contravention of some H&S regulation. It certainly goes against health & hygeine.

Wasn't this typical of programme makers though - they found the most sterotyped H & S inspector and concentrated solely on his boring attitude to everything, even how he photographed scaffolding on holiday because he thought it was not safe. After all the hype on the previews, I thought it would have been an interesting programme actually worth watching but like all these documentaries it only concentrated on what they thought would be seen as eccentric people who they try to humiliate in the name of entertainment. Same as when they show pet owners, nothing about how sensible and caring they can be, just how some like to dress their pets up or treat them like children.
