Miami Vice - 'Death And The Lady'
Hi folks
I've been trying to get hold of a copy of the track played near the end of the above episode of Miami Vice.
The track is 'The Edge Of Town' by the band 'The Truth' ....
Does anyone know where I can download this as I gather it may be long since deleted and can't be bought through normal channels .... I've tried Limewire and iTunes with no success.

Since the copyright holder is apparently not able to collect revenue for the track through normal retail channels (either by design or circumstance) I have few qualms about pointing you to a site from which you can download the album "Weapons of Love" on which the track appears...

As I said Kempie, I gather the track is no longer available and, I now know, neither is the album .... anywhere !
I know the track is on the album 'Weapons Of Love' .... I didn't ask that ....
So in the absence of any site where I can buy it ( and I did say I tried iTunes) where else can I try to get hold of it save for a download site .... or perhaps Ebay and, then again, your concerns about the copyright holder not getting their 'cut' would, again, occur !

If you read my post properly you will see I actually put "I have few qualms" which is a euphemism for "I have no qualms at all" and that is why I posted a link to a site from which you can download the entire album and therefore select the track you wanted.

What can I say .... except that I wish I'd paid more attention at my 'Euphemisms Module 1' lecture at university .... perhaps then I'd have been able to interpret your subliminal message that you were actually 'supplying' me with what I was looking for while stating you had qualms about doing so ....!
Given the tone of your answer, I didn't even go to the link you attached so, again, I regret not interpreting yet another subliminal message that you were giving me the WHOLE album to download ....!

However, here's a scoop .... given this is The Answer Bank where people come looking for answers as opposed to euphemisms, why not give someone a straight answer rather than dance round it with clues that the person who posed the question requires to decipher prior to the answer being unveiled , hmmmm ?!!
I'll give you an example ... in respect of my question, why not reply something like ....
"Hi S .... here's a link where you can download the whole album including the track you're looking for .... hope you enjoy it ...."
Oh, and I'm not mocking you .... just your question and answer skills .... and thank you for the closing compliment in your second post .... wait a minute, sorry, that's another euphemism isn't it .... darn, I'll never get this !!!

Glad you interpreted my 'gratitude' as being 'underwhelming' given that's exactly how your 'euphemistic' answer to my question made me feel ... no 'euphemism' there on my part to be interpreted or deciphered, eh ?
Don't know about not understanding the English language though .... perhaps not understanding you and your 'hidden messages' would be perhaps more accurate .... as I said, you've surfed to 'The Answer Bank' not 'The Euphemism Bank' .... perhaps you could bear that in mind when you know the answer to a question posed and just simply answer the question .... a radical suggestion I accept, however, I'm just throwing it in there for consideration ....
Oh, by the way, I got the download I was looking for .... sure you'll be grateful I kept you informed of developments on that front .... and not a 'euphemism' in sight !
Anyway, I grow bored of this .... feel free to post away on this question, not 'euphemism' ( I like that word a lot now !), as I won't need to look at it again .... knock yourself out ....

Having read through the blog again, I noticed the absence of one very small word in your reply which changed the meaning of it entirely .... the word, I reckon you'll know, is 'a' between the word 'have' and 'few' in your reply ....
The expression 'read it properly' certainly comes to mind .... when I'm wrong, I acknowledge it and apologise ....
I hope that perhaps you'll navigate back to this question and will accept my apologies for my being nothing short of a baffoon .... perhaps and eye test looms large on my horizon !
