How to get Virgin Media in a second room?

I've recently purchased Virgin Media for a shared house. However it had to be installed in the living room downstairs and I cannot receive the signal to the Virgin Channels on my television upstairs. I would like to receive all the channels in my bedroom, but I do not know if I can do it. I have been told I may need to buy another box for upstairs in order to do so.
Does anyone have an ideas?

A digisender may do the trick but you could only watch the same channel as the tv downstairs.

Far better to get another box - depending on the package and services you already have with Virgin it may cost 5 or 10 a month, or it may be free.
