Judge Judy

I say that the Judge Judy show is worth paying the TV licence fee if nothing else is.

In it you get drama, humour, excitement and especially Justice, which is what it`s all about!

Anyone else agree with me?

First of all, the show is on a commercial channel, so the licence fee is not really an issue.

The programme is mildly entertaining, but that's about as far as I would go.

Yeah, that`s true. I pay for Sky and I never watch terrestrial TV but without paying the licence fee I wouldn`t be able to watch TV would I? Is there any way?

Only mildly, hm, well I guess your excitement level scale is way above mine. I even rate Passport Control as 7. (JJ being 10/10)

She wouldn't get away with it in a real court of law but I guess that it's a bit of harmless entertainment if you like a menopausal woman talking down to people(literally!)

And I think her sidekick's name is Byrd (surname by which she refers to him).

PS: Judge Joe Brown isn't a patch on JJ.

No, paraffin, his first name is Burt, and they`re on good terms with each other.

And I believe that the `show` is a real court with all the legality that goes along with it. It just happens to be made for public consumption since JJ is so brilliant with her judgements. She`s a reincarnation of Solomon!

Have you read any of her books? The first one 'Don't pee up my leg and tell me its raining' gives a real insight into her personal life. and her second 'Beauty fades but dumb is forever' is worth reading if you are a JJ fan. I think she's good and its a pity WE dont have someone like her over here.
