I was so pleased the team with hearing and speaking disabilities beat the E/H tonight and won �23,000.

Yes, so was I, they did really well. When the woman knocked out Kevin, I thought "good for you."

It is great when programs like this show disability does not equate to stupidness.

My son has a speaking disability (dyspraxia) along with other problems like with reading and writing.

Yet he is very bright.

When he was at school kids took the micky out of him because they thought he was stupid.

Nobody thinks Stephen Hawkins is stupid just because his body is crippled and he cant speak properly.

So well done this program (have not seen it yet to be honest)

Sorry to hear about your son getting the micky taken out of him at school, one thing that really makes my blood boil is bullying

My youngest son has autism with learning difficulties, and he's had some bullying - but I refused to give up on him. He now attends mainstream school, is top in his group at English and maths and very good at sports. All these people need is someone to give them a lot of support and attention, and whoi knows what can be achieved? Pleased to hear about the Eggheads result!

Awww.....in our house Elvis, we make jokes and laugh about my won's condition. If not - it'd drive us mad. It's all done in a loving way though, and he understands this.
