I used to watch an American Sitcom, would be sometime from 89 to 94 ish that was set in a huge house which on some scenes they would show the outside view and it had turrents (it was a very dark beige house). I just remember it had a sweeping staircase into the lounge and it was a comedy, mostly set in the lounge with staircase and the kitchen.

Anyone any ideas??

I think it might be The Charmings. It told the story of Snow White and the Prince after they got married. The Evil Queen lived with them, I think. It ran in 1987
