i no no one has answered this

but my freind has like a 242 lcd tv / monitor

which he is planning on watching it on

so i cant understand how its not going to work

if so why cant pubs do this???
Question Author
sorry that was meant to say 24" monitor
I think it may be because there is no business purchase option, and it is illegal for them to pay a domestic rate and then profit from it, even by beer sales. For example when Sky show a pay per view boxing match, same principle. I may be corrected though...

ok thanks

it was more of a technical question as to wether "they" can block you feeding a laptop onto a big plasma telly

someone said they have somehow blocked you being able to do this
There is no reason as to why you cannot connect your Computer to your Large Screen TV in the Home using HDMI Cable. This is providing your PC and TV have the provision to do so, therefore check at back of TV and Computer if sockets are there.
oh i see, I don't think that they have physically blocked them from what I have read, just that by it not allowing it to be available on tv it reduces their options to almost none?
