just been watching some episodes of Fringe that I recorded a while ago, don't know how many series there have been but does anyone know what happened to Walter (love him he's so sweet) did he have a breakdown?

Yes, he had a breakdown before the series started and is son got him out of hospital to help him in his lab because of his genius qualities, but he still goes off into a world of his own occasionally, and the series returns next month sometime.
