The Secret Millionaire!

I think that was last one last night and it was pretty emotional,the chap seemed a very sensistive soul,but i know that you have to get a disclosure check for each job that has children or vunerable adults involved, which can be some weeks to come through, and has to be done by the charity concerned, how does that work if he is meant to be the secret millionaire?

I always wonder this, how do they get crb and he/she just turn up and start work. My daughter is trying to get some voluntary work and they checked her references and everything. So Secret Millionaire isn't true to life, and you would think by now everyone would have been wise to the stories they feed the people. So if someone comes into your area to find a new job, etc etc. Make them really happy and comfy and they might give u a few bob!!!!!!

I thought the same thing myself about the CRB check - I think it is probably approved because he would never be unaccompanied with any vulnerable people - or the production could in theory do a CRB clearance before the show is filmed but you are right it does have to be done by the employer but they could in theory do it through the show. When I sit there thinking all this stuff through I think get a life I work in HR during the day and I always sit there saying to myself you cant do that ie Kelly getting sacked instantly in Corrie and not taking Carla to Tribunal!

That makes me think that now their isnt element of surprise like their was when this series started!
