I forgot to record it, as I was at the Peterborough - Newcastle match.

However, I've set it to record tomorrow and will watch it when I get back from rehearsal...

I wouldn`t waste your time Mark
Not impressed but I will give it another go, storyline was rubbish I thought
I've heard from people whose opinion I trust and respect that it was very good, so I'll definitely be watching it.

Won't be able to comment on it, good or bad, otherwise...
I personally thought it was very good and am looking forward to the next one.
I was disappointed by it; the storyline was poor. I think all the hype over it made more of it than it really was, still I will watch next weeks and see how it goes.
I really enjoyed it. A bit too much "comedy" at the beginning, but otherwise great. Can't wait until next week.

I enjoyed it, but it's a bit too early to tell.

There's a lot of change for this series, Stephen Moffat taking over from Russell T Davies, new writers, a new companion and the new Doctor. When the last change in Doctors happened, the writers and the companion stayed the same, which eased the change for the viewers

I get the impression that they seem to be appealing to a younger audience, but maybe they always were but David Tennant's appeal attracted a slightly older crowd ,especially the ladies ;o)

Matt Smith has a huge job to follow David Tennant, who did an amazing job and is so well loved, being voted the best doctor ever!!

I think he'll do fine, but it'll take a while for everyone to settle in, and for the viewers to get used to a new doctor, it's a bit soon to start writing him and the whole series off, after just one episode.
I was worried that the hype was going to spoil it and thought we'd seen the best of it in the trailers.... but I actually think it was very good!

It's a tough job taking over from David Tennant and I think they picked a pretty good follow up. It definatly has a different feel to it, but it's got to be a good thing! It had my 6 year olds seal of approval and he is a die hard fan.... so got to be good lol!
I'll give him more time. I wasn't overly impressed with tennant for the first little while - Eccleston had beed great - but he became the best ever.

DrWho was always aimed at a younger audience, and I really wish they'd bring back Torchwood...
i liked it. he reminded me a bit of the blonde doctor after tom baker, but i can't work out why
No, didn't like it and I have never seen such an ugly Dr!!
Speaking as a child of the 70's growing up with John Pertwee & Tom Baker as 'my' Doctors... loved it.
Mrs Blurry always accuses me of fearing change but this is one show where it has to be accepted and so far it's all to the good.
Hats off to Stephen Moffat, Matt Smith & the rest of the cast & crew.

Well I guess most of you will give it another look-in next week, but I`m an old John Pertwee fan whom fitted the part like a glove.
im not a follower, but i thought id give it a go as i caught alot of the hype about the new doc. i quite enjoyed it, found myself quite scared (and im the wrong side of 35 and was not alone!). would give it another go, but wouldnt sky plus it if i wasnt around.
i was surprised how good the new Doctor was as I regard Tennant as the best ever Doctor.if you dont like it dont watch it ...record a soap and watch real tripe instead

I loved it, having watched Doctor Who since the late 1960s, I've seen a lot of new Doctor's first episodes. And like the others above, Jon (no "h") Pertwee is my favourite too.
No I didn't like it, though i may be being a bit unfair on the new doctor, I just can't like him. He's soo horrible to look at. Storyline was weak. Not sure if I'll carry on, maybe just for best 'baddies'.

bednobs - I was reminded of Peter Davison aswell, and i'm not sure why either!
Tom Baker was my era, I loved him.
