What a twist, I thought the little short-ass would cop his lot. Then at the end of the programme the announcer said we could watch an alternative ending on ITV.com, but when I tried, up popped a message saying they were very busy, and after waiting ages I gave up and came on here. Now I`m going to bed. G`night

The news before the programme said there were 3 alternative endings recorded.
I assume there was one for Frost and one for Mullet to cop the whack.

Watched the alternative on itv.com and followed the links.
This was approx. 11.05pm.
There is only one alternative,so won,t spoil it.

i managed to watch it on our rather slow connection, it lasted 6 minutes but took 10 to watch, omg Jack dies, bless.

Yes, he stroled off into the sunset but I was intrigued by how quickly her hair grew again. It was short after her spell in hospital and then long again later in the show. Any-one else notice??

nnnnoooo!!!! ah thinking about it maybe it was, how perculiar, they film stuff in random orders and i supsoe he had his hair cut half wy through filming but they'd done various parts of the episode.

Well eiphos, if you think about it, it would have been a few months later that they were sitting in the church with George's coffin, giving time for her hair to grow.

Yes, my wife noticed it and I assume they filmed different bits according to how weather or other mishaps happen as a series progresses. They can`t afford to waste filming time when on a short budget.
