I'm always sceptical of these polls/surveys. I see the results but I never hear about the survey taking place. And even if it was collected through a proper survey it does cover only C4 viewers and probably only those who use the internet a lot.
The results of this one looked odd. Bob Monkouse should surely be higher than number 64. And should I know who number 9, Chris Rock, is?

I still haven't heard of Chris Rock. But when I googled him I read he was voted number 5 comedian in the world in another survey (on Comedy central).
