has anyone else noticed jon ross's freaky index finers ? he can bend the top third -the bit with the nail - without the rest of his finger moving . try it and see , i can only do it if i hold my finger straight

I can do that glenis-in fact I can make all my fingers do that at the same time. 2 of my kids can do it as well. We must be a family of freaks.

If you bend any finger and make it an L bend, by holding the end with your other hand it should move up and down quite loosely and by tapping it with your right index up and down fast, it will wobble as if broken. At least, mine does. The kids think it funny.

I've been able to bent the tops of all my fingers on my left hand since I was a kid, in those days I was told I was double-jointed. I can only bend the tops of the middle two fingers on my right hand.

I can do it with my middle finger on each hand, ever since I trapped them both simultaneously in a stepladder when I was a kid.
