Humax HD-FOX T2 query
I have recently bought an HD-FOX T2 HD receiver which is connected via HDMI to my Sony KDL32W4000U Bravia TV - picture is really good but there is one problem:
When I switch the box on, the TV does not automatically switch to the HDMI input and I have to select it from the remote. SCART connected equipment does this and I thought HDMI should too.
The TV has HDMI settings but when it looks for HD equipment a message says no HD connected - is there any way to set up the box so that the TV sees it and it switches the TV input when the box is switched from standby to on ?
Any advice or information appreciated.

THis is a known issue I mentioned on the Forum that the latest update did not seem to fix.
HDMI problem.
HDR-FOXT2-1TB connected to a Panasonic Viera Full HD LED TV.
Connection is via the HDMI 1 on the TV.
The Humax is set to auto switch on at 0700 and off at 23.00.
The TV is set to start on AV (not TV)
On some occasions (but not always) there is no picture or sound via HDMI when switching on the TV during these times.
The only solution is to power off the Humax and the start up routine seems to initiate the HDMI connection.
Sometimes just putting the Humax into Standby works sometimes it does not.
If recording it cant be switched off.
Connection via a scart works all the time but obviously I want to connect via HDMI only.
I have received the 16 Sept 2010 Humax HDR-FOX T2 update FHTCP-1.01.05

The above link describes other issues which the update did fix
1. When trying to use the Find function with Program Guide the search term enters but then locks up. This can not be cancelled using the blue button option.
Only solution is to switch off the mains power.
2 The TV antenna connection via the HDR-FOX T2 gives a "No Signal" on the TV unless the Humax is powered up.
Previous Humax 9200, 9150 models could be switched into StandBy and the TV viewed normally.
It is correctly connected as per the User Manual. Antenna in and RF out to TV.
3 Program information is Set correctly to English but displays recorded programs and information partially as unreadable hieroglphics
