Well,who watched the first episode of The Deep on BBC1??

I did,and I very much liked it......can't wait to see next weeks episode!!!
I love watching tense thrilling dramas like these.
So far I rate it 5/5...

My mum watched it with me,and she thought it was quite scary.....
Not for me though, 'cause this is just my cup of tea!!!
Bring on the tension I say........oooh love a bit of tension.

Any comments are most welcome....thanks.
Is anyone going to continue watching it like me?

Oops Forgot to mention my husband did say it reminded him of the film "Alien". which it did in some ways. Like the robot in the film that was planted on board and the man in this series that knows what "it" is and isnt telling. (Except by his face).

i thought it was quite good but minnie driver annoyed me as per usual which maared it a bit

I loved it just my type of programme it reminded me of the film the abyss which I love cant wait for the next episode,that girl maddie was slightly annoying though jumping out of her skin everytime the sub creaked!

After watching 'the silence' and the pathetic ending, it has put me off watching dramas.

I watched on iplayer, and did enjoy it although it did remind me of Alien and Pitch Black a bit.

A bit like tinkie i hope it will be better than the recent mini series which have all ended dreadfully

I will definitely continue watching I thought it was brilliant!
I knew there was something dodgy about that fella.
What do you think it was that helped them when they were stuck??

I must be the only one who was disappointed with it. I found it totally boring and it didn't hold me in suspense at all. I thought it was more like a drama for older children.

Good question supersuezy!!!
Hmmm,not quite sure what came to their rescue.It looked like an underwater vessel of some kind.They did try to communicate with the unknown vessel, but failed.
It could be that the aliens or whoever did not understand their language!!
Who knows, could well be aliens, or then again........could be Russians!!
:)
We will just have to wait and see.
