I don't wish to appear pedantic, but whoever wins can't REALLY be the CofC as not all those who won have taken part - or were there eliminations that we are unaware of? I cannot believe that winners such as Kevin Ashman and Fred Housego to name only 2 didn't want to take part, especially as 2 other Eggheads - Chirs Hughes and Pat Gibson - have both taken part. Looking forward to tonights' final.
Count-a-strong - Not at all. How can someone be a champion of champions when not all the available champions have been given the oppurtunity to compete? It has nothing at all to do with one person having to play all the others. In your example, all the teams have at least been given the chance to take part; whether the eventual winner plays the others is irrelevant.
Pedantic here we go:
All people taking part were champions, admittedly not all of them.
The winner of a competition with only champions taking part is a Chapion of Champions.
I don't wish to labout the point, but does antone know if ALL the available Champions were given the oppurtunity to take part? I have emailed the BBC but they are ignoring my request. Nothing new there as they do that with everyone - so much for a company that is owned by the people!!
