Does anyone actually think that Julian Clary is funny?

The self proclaimed "Lord of the Mince" was on loose women and I was reminded of how unfunny he was, his obvious innuendos and predictable double entendres are getting painful now (pardon the pun) We obviously found him funny at the beginning when his style was unique and he was shocking us but just how long can his gags remain funny and who exactly are the ones that pay money to go to his shows?

Humour is a very personal thing, what you like I hate, and vice versa.
I cannot see why anyone would pay good money(for instance) to see Ricky Gervais or Peter Kay,but they do,and I am quite content to let them.
Personally,I don't find that many people very funny, but then I am probably in the minority?

Jackthehat someone who is funny is funny everywhere, how can you say he's funny in person but not funny on Tv when he obviously does the same tired jokes? Agreed douglas Stephen is funny, invictas Ricky Gervais is funny in his program the office, Peter Kay is a legend, but Julian Clary not funny in the least, maybe his humor is only suited to a small like minded minority as he certainly isn't mainstream on the comedy circuits!
I agree about Peter Kay. I can watch a whole routine without breaking into a smile once, and I am not noted for my lack of sense of humour. I also think that this changes with age; when I was a child I loved the Morecambe and Wise show, but in later years I found them distinctly unfunny and rather juvenile.
