Voting each other off

I remember watching a programme several years ago where the contestants chose who they wanted to save every week. They came on one at a time and had to say who they wanted to save and why. Was it Fame Academy (or not!)?

Fame Academy - Every week, depending on the perceived quality of their performances, contestants would be put into either "safe" or "danger" zones. Anyone in the latter had to undergo a system of voting by the other participants to determine which one would then be forced to leave.

Not sure if that's the one, but it might rule it out if not.

Thanks! Yes I think it was the programme I was thinking of. I remember Jensen Buttons then girlfriend Louise being on it and it showing him in the audience and also Lemarr, who only came about third but has done better out of it than anybody else.
