Anyone remember the kids t.v programme Heidi?

What year was it first shown on t.v ?

I loved that show as a nipper.

So did I. And I was very young... so it was mid to late 60's? I didn't think you were as old as I zzxee - maybe they were reshown when you were a wee girl?!

I remember. It was of course based on the book by Johanna Spyri. I remember it as fat hard back book. There were 2 more, one anout her going to school and another when she was grown up and married to Peter.

I dont remember the programme but I used to love the book when I was younger.

All they ever seemed to eat was cheese on toast - made with milk from the goats

I used to love that too. I'm 36 if that helps. Read all the books as well. Who was the actress that played Heidi? Wondered if still acting now?
