Hi. Have £3000 to spend on a reliable run around car. Want it to be a small engine so cheap for fuel n tax. Will be used to shuttle to work n back (40 miles round trip) down the motorway n little else. What car n engine size wud you ABers recommend? Thank u.

My MGF has to go soon.

It's getting to the point where each service is expensive.

I just can't find anything that I'd have instead.

Maybe a new motorbike would be tempting?

Got a great one here in very good condition (in Illogan near Camborne) for £2k with a book of £3k - it came from a dealer where the old man had died and the kids sold on a job lot of 6 cars for cash. Can recommend the guy I dealt with - I know its is an oxymoron to say "Nice Car-dealer" but Mike Cox is.....
