Removing A Towbar - Urgent Advice Please

Hi
I have just upgraded my car to a 55 plate Renault Scenic and it has a tow bar fitted (from when it was new).

I don't like tow bars and want to get it taken of. Am I correct in assuming that a garage can just unbolt the swanneck part that shows? Will this be ok for the electics as they seem to be connected to a small box on the swanneck.

Yes that should be ok Gordon.

They will most likely relocate the small electrics box to behind the rear bumper.

Hi tonyav. I had it done yesterday for £15 by a local tow bar specialist and they did indeed relocate the wires box behind the bumper.
