does any body now how i can find my drivers number either on line or a 0845 number to DVLA rather than the premium rate numbers constantly advertised on the net being on benefits I have to watch literally every penny THANK YOU ANSWER BANK FRIENDS

Click on where it says "Search to find an alternative number" and enter the number that you have. If it's in its data base, it'll give you a list of alternative, cheaper numbers :)
It is on your driving licence. If you have lost your licence you just need your address and full name and date of birth to order a new one.

...and when you ring THAT number, they will tell you to ring a 0300 one....
^^^^^^^

0300 numbers are free to call from a landline if you have a package that includes free calls to geographic numbers including 0845 & 0870 numbers..
