How Do I Release The Handbrake On A Renault Scenic When The Engine Is Off?
Hello all.
How do I release the handbrake on a Renault Scenic when the engine is off please?
Sometimes we need to move the car forward a tad to get into the garage and we don't want to switch the engine on just to move a couple of feet or so.
The car has an electric handbrake which can only be used when the electric is on.

The car is parked on a slight incline. The Megan has an automatic handbrake so when the engine is turned off the brake comes on.
The garage is away from the house so if we need to get into the garage the car needs to be moved away then moved back for garage security purposes.
So I just wondered if the brake can be released without having the ignition on, like back in the day, you just released by hand and then back on.
