Am I Better To Go For Personal Contract Hire Or Purchase A New Vehicle?

I'm looking to get a new car and I'm totally overwhelmed with information about what is the best value for my needs.

Basically I'm looking for the cheapest way to get a new vehicle, not too fussed about any bells and whistles or extras.

I've looked into leasing which seems to be a pretty good way of doing things; but I don't know if there's any snags? I'm more aware of the process of purchasing a new vehicle as I've done that before.

Any info/opinions appreciated!

If you do around 10,000 miles a year then a PCH is a great idea. Try to get one which has the servicing built in. If you start to do over 10k / 12k a year then it gets a little complicated as to whether to buy.

To get the best and cheapest deal speak to the Dacia man at your Renault dealer.
My wifes Sandero Ambience was £6595 new with 3 years warranty. Nissan/Renault parts and is very well made. We are very pleased with it.
There are a few finance deals you camn do from no deposit HP through to persolan leasing.
Worth a chat for sure and better than paying more for a more expensive s/h car!

if you do lease - speak to the dealers direct not through a leasing company. you can get betters deals, you can haggle and EOC charges can be less. a leasing company are bastards on bumps and scrapes, you can get a way with a little more with dealer direct.

If you lease over 2 years and your mileage is not high, don't bother with maint as its a brand new car and should only need one service.
If you have mileage 10k upwards and lease for more than 2 years make sure you get your maint included (servicing, tyres & rfl)

I've been looking around at car leasing stuff as well recently. I think taking out a personal contract hire deal is the best thing for my needs as I only do around 8k miles a year. However I don't know if the same applies to you.

From the pricing it seems that anything over 10k miles per year and you start creeping into a grey area in terms of pricing.
