When driving in the rain with my headlights on I noticed I couldn't read the 'lit-up' details on my dashboard - number of miles driven, time I had been driving. While not important in itself it would have been useful to see those details. When I got home and switched the lights off, the dashboard lights came bright again. is there an electrical fault, as I have never know this happen before. I recently had front sensors fitted which are a nightmare (dealers say they are fine) so wondered if my electrics could have been upset when they fitted the lights. Thought I would ask on here before going back to the dealers.

(My Saab is and a bit of googling suggests that at least some Honda models have it). If so, when activated, all non-essential displays on your dashboard are switched off. So see if there's a button marked 'Night Mode', or something similar. Pressing it might disengage the 'Night' feature and turn the full display back on again.
