Renault Clio starting problem.

Recently my 02 Clio have given me some problems when it is cold. Normally the engine uses a second to adjust to the load (air con. etc.) and settles at the propriate RPM, but now it simply dies before it adjusts the RPM. I'm affraid it's the onboard computer that controls the "choker" that is causing the problem.


Any ideas?

This sounds like it could be a TDC (Top Dead Centre) sensor fault. More info here:
