I have both Power of Atorney and Will in place.

The Will I remade/updated after my husband passed passed away 2½ yrs ago.

The Power of Atorney was joint and made at least 15 yrs ago.

One of the persons we appointed in now in very poor health and I really need to remove that person..can I appoint another to replace them without remaking the whole document. The original solicitors are closed down now.. has anyone advice on this please?

Thank you Barry much appreciated.

If you do make a new LPA there is no need to pay a solicitor.  You can do it yourself online, you don't need to do it in one sitting, you can 'save' your form, but at least you have the original as a template.  If you do decide to take that route, be sure to use the official website

https://www.gov.uk/power-of-attorney

Also, fill one in the correct one if you don't need both.
