Corsa sxi 'Inspec' tripometer word will not go.

When i start my car the tripometer reads 'inspec' after a few seconds this goes out and gets replaced with the tripometer numbers.

How do I get rid of the word when I start my car?

this will only be removed when your car gets serviced and the garage will remove it for you, i have corsa sxi also.

Load of rubbish mavis - It can be reset by holding the button in and then turn on the ignition - this will extinguish the "Inpsec".
Ps.I have a Corsa too.

honest......i tried it this morning after reading your reply and it didnt work. hold in trip button and turn ignition on at same time......all it did was trip my miles to 0.

1. press and hold trip button
2. turn ignition on
3. continue to hold button for a further 10 seconds
4. all done :)

im back.......after holding trip button in fro a further 10 seconds after turning on ignition........IT WORKED !! thank you !!
