My Rover 75 is an X reg (2000). When I put the blower on, (hot or cold) and am at traffic lights or stuck in traffic etc, it emits a really strong smell of exhaust fumes. (and these fumes are not from a car in front) Does this mean I have a leaky exhaust and the fumes are getting blown away when moving but sucked into the car when stationary or is it a different problem?
Any suggestions (sensible) will be most welcome.
Thanks

You could have a leak in the exhaust (down pipe) come have it checked. Because the down pipe is connected to the engine and it will be close to the heater.

Do it soon as you can or you will suffer from carbon monoxides poisoning, (A deadly gas)
