Hi all,

Can anyone reccomend a good insurance company for a 23 year old who has had one accident?

I had an accident at the beginning of the year and now go back to 0 no claims. My renewal quote from Norwich union is literally 1100% more than last year. (yes 1100%)

HELP! please :P

try ones like tesco, churchill and direct line. dnt go with elephant, i know someone who's renewal quote was like 1100 and when they shopped around they found it for bout 500 cheaper.
try www.confused.com
Admiral, do a 10 month accelerated bonus scheme....You purchase a 10 month policy and after the 10 months are up you qualify for a years no claims....but you do need to shop around try www.screentrade.co.uk
Also with tesco but I've got a daft car so I pay fortunes anyways.

It depends on where you live. A guy the same age as me, with the same NCB etc. but lives down south pays 1000 less than me.

I actually found that confused.com (etc) were more expensive than going direct to the insurer.
Try screentrade. I found them the cheapest!
Confused.com rocks. try that!
Smart People, Budget! Budget are the cheapest I've found and boy are they cheap!
Rac was the cheapest for me by nearly 200

thankyou all for your replies - its given me food for thought :P
i would recommend churchill - they're cheap, no hidden mess and you can get breakdown cover with them too. the others are right though, it does depend on where you live, this bumps it up.
