brake pads and discs

hi all, i could really with changing my discs and pads on my vauxhall astra 1.6 sxi 1999. does any one know how to do this? i could really do with out the garage prices for such an easy job(so i've been told)????/

It won't cost much to get a manual from Halfords, not easy to explain the full procedure here.

i should think the discs would be �25/35 each and the pads �20/30
As Toureman suggets - get a Haynes manual, the discs and pads are easy to replace if your are competent enuff.
discs and pads are easy.
i cant remember how the astra discs are fitted from memory but they are very easy.

one thing to remember when replacing discs and pads is to make sure the brake fluid doesnt overflow from the master cylinder when you push the pistons back into the caliper.
if it becoms too full or looks like it may overflow, you will need to remove some of the fluid !

Another thing to do wgen replacing the discs is to give the surface where it joins the hub a good wire brushing to remove any rust - have had the problem before of brake judder when I didn't do it.
