Car advice please?
I've got a Boxter but need to change it as I can't afford it anymore. What can I get instead that's quite quick and sporty for around 15K (doesn't have to be new)? I thought of a Civic Type R but would welcome any suggestions.
Thanks

A new Polo GTI (1.8T 150BHP) 3/5dr
A new Polo 1.9 TDI (130BHP) 3/5dr (economy!)
A mk4 Golf R32 3/5dr
An Audi S3 (1.8T 210BHP or 225 BHP from 2002) 3dr
An Audi A3 3.2 quattro Sport (3dr, 2yrs old)
An Audi TT Coupe or Roadster (Previous model) not forgetting the entry level 150BHP front wheel drive version that was about 22k new.
A SEAT Leon 1.8T Cupra (1 yr old - 5dr, same engine as Audi S3)
A SEAT FR (Formula Racing trim for Ibiza, Leon and Altea models) Possibly not too many used models around yet.
I've missed out the VW Golf GTI though because 15k won't yet get you one from a franchised dealer. Not too long to wait now though, as this car's been on UK roads since Dec 2004.
No point mentioning Skoda as that would be too much of a come down! Good enough cars though.

Thanks for all your answers.
I like the Nissan but its a bit too much of a boy's car for me.
I'll check out the Clio, it is nippy though?
ThisSpace, I think you hit the nail on the head with the Audis as I've always liked them so its worth a trip to the showroom I think.
Hawkwalk, I LOVE the S2000 Type R but I was thinking that it wouldn't end up being much cheaper than what I'm paying for the Porsche?

how about a seat ibiza cupra - diesel version is 1.9tdi 160bhp - and same amount of torque as a boxter 0-60 in roughly 7.4 secs average mpg of 50 ish.
or
you could go for a the petrol version of the seat ibiza cupra
i have the diesel version myself and its more than a match for most cars! hope this helps! :-)
