Wondering if anyone can help. The orange/yellow warning light with a 'lightning flash' in the middle has been going on and off in my car for about a month now but now stays on permanently. There don't seem to be any problems with the car. Any ideas?

To diagnose the fault you'll have to go to a garage with diagnostic equipment and get the fault code read.
Get it checked as above ASP because if there is a fault with the carburation or injectors and it is running a bit rich it could ruin your expensive cat.
get a garage to check the fault codes, could be an air flow meter. they are a commmon problem on 1l corsa's. so are timing chains get that checked to as there is a recall on them.
