How do I clean car windows (inside) so as to get that "wine glass clean" affect?

When driving in the dark especially when its raining too, oncoming headlights show up all the little marks and grease. Also condensation builds up quicker if theres grease and dirt on the glass. I've cleaned them three times but theres still grease and traces on them that quickly catches the condensation hindering vision. I would love to clean them so they're really clean like when you see adverts for washing up liquid and the wine glass is crystal clear. Incedently my car is a 1993 Rover 214 SLI, the heater and air controls are'nt brilliant.

Theres a product available called 'fog-x' its by the rame makers of rain-x but its used on the indide of the glass and its for problems with condensation and the like

Autoglym Clear Glass polish does the trick. I don't know if you've ever noticed the Autoglym product range but it's the bottle with the light blue label. Available in Halfords, it's a blue cream. Put it on. Leave it two mins and take off with a clean cloth. Nice.

I have the same problem and the best solution i have found is a bowl of hot water with a drop of W U Liquid wash your windows and then dry them with newspaper it has something to do with the print on the paper it leaves the windscreen smear and streak free.

i had a rover214 and back window was the worst ,go to local motorist dicount shop you should be able to get something there,ps back window condensating up is a common problem

I own several cars that are used for weddings and getting the glass clean on the inside is one of the things I have had real trouble with. I have used most glass cleaners and they are rubbish. The best I have found are cream based cleaners, but even they are not great. Don't know if it has anything to do with it, but the cars with aircon seem to be the worst as the glass would appear to get a dirty film all over the inside and I nobody smokes in my cars. I will be intrested to see if anyone comes up with a sure fire solution.

yer autoglym - fast glass. bout a �5 for 500ml. good stuff!

After you have cleaned your windows with any kind of glass cleaner, ( Car or house windows ) buff your windows with some old newspaper, Don't ask why it works, It just does. ( A great tip from my old nan )
