reversing lights

i have a rover 111 kensington can anyone tell me where the reversing light switch is located, as i can not get my reversing lights to work have checked fuses and bulbs
please help due for mot real soon

on the gearbox. when you select reverse gear it operates the switch on the gearbox

I have checked a couple of MOT sites on the web and nowhere does it mention that reversing lights are part of the test, I had my car MOT yesterday and the reversing lights were not checked.

iam a mot tester and the rev lights donot come into a test

dont need rev lights for mot. Switch is on top of gearbox with a 2 wire multiplug. remove plug and join the wires together. If light works new swich req
