Clio indicator fault

Hi, Intermittent fault on 2002 Clio. Offside indicator comes on when it feels like it & stays on. Sometimes switching on sidelights stops it. Can go for miles with no issue. Have had stalk replaced. Autoelectrician has twice declared it fault free. Driving us nuts! Appreciate any help. Thanks.
